1. Description of Service

NerdZone provides a cloud-based, AI-powered Applicant Tracking System designed to help companies collect, parse, rank, and manage job applicants and their curriculum vitae (CVs). The software utilizes automated algorithms to provide data-driven percentile scoring based on technical criteria.

 

2. Account Registration and Security

  • Eligibility: You must register for an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. [1]

  • Credentials: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • Unauthorized Use: You must immediately notify NerdZone of any unauthorized use or suspected security breach of your account.

 

3. Customer Data and Applicant Privacy

  • Ownership: You retain all rights, title, and interest in any resumes, applicant profiles, text, or data that you or your candidates upload to the Service ("Customer Data").

  • License to NerdZone: You grant NerdZone a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, parse, and process Customer Data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the AI scoring mechanisms of the Service. [1]

  • Compliance: You represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents from job applicants to process their personal data and CVs within NerdZone in compliance with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

 

4. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying AI models of the Service.

  • Use the Service to store or transmit infringing, defamatory, or unlawful material.

  • Deploy automated bots, scrapers, or spiders to extract candidate data from the platform systematically.

  • Bypass or attempt to circumvent any security features or rate limits established on the Service. [1, 2]

 

5. Fees and Payment

  • Subscription: The Service is billed on a subscription basis (Monthly or Annually) as specified during checkout.

  • Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the end of the current billing cycle.

  • Taxes: All fees are exclusive of taxes, and you are responsible for paying any applicable taxes associated with your use of the Service. [1, 2]

 

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including the design, layout, graphics, underlying software, branding, and proprietary AI scoring algorithms, remain the exclusive property of NerdZone.

 

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NerdZone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to hiring decisions made based on the AI’s percentile scoring outputs. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

 

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or fail to pay subscription fees. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. [1]

NerdZone reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website or sending an email notification. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
