  • NerdZone Customers (Employers): When a company purchases our ATS, they act as the Data Controller for all applicant information.

  • Job Applicants: If you apply for a job through a portal powered by NerdZone, NerdZone acts strictly as a Data Processor operating on behalf of the employer. Any requests regarding deleting or modifying your applicant data should be directed to the company you applied to.

 

2. Information We Collect

We collect data to provide a seamless automated recruitment experience:

  • Account Information: Name, corporate email address, password, company name, and billing details provided when setting up a NerdZone subscription. [1]

  • Applicant Data (Uploaded by Employers or Applicants): Resumes/CVs, contact information, work history, skill sets, and social media/professional profiles (e.g., GitHub, LinkedIn). [1]

  • Usage and Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, device information, and logs tracking how users interact with our dashboard to optimize performance. [1]

  • To Provide the Service: Storing applications, parsing resumes, and running our proprietary AI engine to generate objective technical percentile scores.
